    The Vice President, SupremeX Packaging is a senior executive responsible for the overall financial performance and operational leadership of the SupremeX Folding Carton, Label & Paragraph businesses.

    This role has full responsibility and accountability for Sales, Key Account Management, Operations and Administration within the Packaging segment, while working in close partnership with corporate functions.

    As a key driver of revenue and profitability and an architect of scalable growth, this role will focus on building a robust, profitable and sustainable Packaging platform across Canada. The Vice President of Packaging will have significant influence on the Packaging Segment strategy, operating model and culture, with the mandate to drive consistency, predictability, reliability and operational excellence across Folding Carton and Paragraph operations. The VP will build a high-performing leadership team, establish clear governance and set expectations that enable accountability and superior results.

    Key Responsibilities


    Financial & Strategic Leadership

    • P&L ownership & accountability for assigned locations and the consolidated Canadian Folding Carton, Label & Paragraph segments
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for individual businesses and the overall CAD Packaging segment
    • Establish clear goals, targets, KPIs, and accountability for leadership and management teams
    • Optimize capacity utilization, operational capability, revenue growth and margin performance
    • Review and analyze financial statements, operational metrics and sales performance to support and drive continuous improvement
    • Provide executive oversight of Sales and Key Account Management functions
    • Ensure clear distinction and alignment between new business development and account growth and retention
    • Drive disciplined sales execution, pricing, margin management and customer mix optimization
    • Directly develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers

    Operations Excellence

    • Lead and support operational excellence initiatives across assigned platform
    • Instill a culture of Consistent, Predictable & Reliable with a "Can Do" approach to nimbleness and getting it done
    • Champion initiatives including:
    • LEAN and/or 5S based manufacturing and continuous improvement
    • Maintaining high Quality standards and performance metrics consistent with the organization's many certifications and Global Consumer Packaged Goods customer's expectations
    • Freight, logistics, and supply chain optimization
    • Training and leadership development programs
    • Foster strong collaboration across departments, business units, and regions
    • Leverage SupremeX enterprise capabilities and value propositions across the Packaging segment
    • Support and lead enterprise initiatives, including:
    • ERP implementations
    • Capital equipment acquisition and divestiture

    Tactical & Hands-On Leadership

    • Build financial models and analyses to support strategic and operational decisions
    • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Lead or support negotiations with suppliers and partners

    M&A and Strategic Growth

    • Active member of the senior leadership team contributing to SupremeX overall Strategic Plan
    • Partner closely with the CEO to identify, evaluate and execute on M&A opportunities
    • Play a key role in due diligence, negotiation, integration and post-acquisition optimization
    • Identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the Packaging market

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles ideally within packaging, folding carton or tangential manufacturing environments
    • University degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
    • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution
    • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of sales strategy, pricing, estimating and margins
    • Demonstrated success driving profitable growth in manufacturing operations
    • M&A experience strongly preferred
    • Advanced financial literacy with strong analytical and decision-making skills
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and financial modeling tools
    • Comfortable representing the organization across customers, partners, and stakeholders

    Candidate Profile or Skills and Competencies

    • Bilingual (divisions outside Quebec)
    • Effective communicator with a high degree of diplomacy and negotiation skill
    • Confident, decisive leader able to operate in ambiguity and high-pressure situations
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to win and grow the business
    • High integrity, accountability, and commitment to confidentiality
    • Collaborative leader able to build strong relationships across divisions and functions
    • Organized, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Comfortable operating at all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive leadership
    • Able to work flexible hours as required to meet business needs
