  • 1 permanent Nurse Practitioner position (salary range: $ $59.40 per hour)
  • 1 temporary, 12 month Mental Health Nurse position (salary range: $ $49.25 per hour)
  • 1 temporary, 6 month Registered Practical Nurse position (salary range: $ $31.45 per hour)

We are seeking caring and compassionate Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses to join our health care team at the North Bay Jail.

In these roles, you will use your specialized knowledge and skills to provide patient-centered health care to offenders.

What can I expect to do in this role?


In these roles, you will:


  • Practise in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Practice Standards and Ministry expectations
  • Work in an interprofessional team in the development and delivery of the patient plan of care to promote health and prevent illness
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other staff members and external stakeholders
