    Job Title Director Business Development - Payments Job Description The Director of Business Development will manage business development activities to identify, develop, and administer strategic partnerships with other organizations to realize key objectives, gain operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, and create new revenue streams back to the business.

    Being a Director of Business Development, you will negotiate with new partners to formalize alliances and relationships.

    The ideal candidate will be a seasoned strategic partnership / business development executive that has a proven track record of success within the payments industry.

    Key Responsibilities Identify Pipeline - Work with specific Sage Products in North America to help identify who our customers are using for their payment acceptance service.

    Responsible for building a strong pipeline and target list, identifying stakeholders and contact prospects via phone, email and face to face/virtual meetings.

    Business Development – Run all aspects of the Business Development process (market/segment/vertical research, sourcing, presenting, proposal generation, negotiating, contracting, and launching) resulting in the addition of new strategic partners for Sage.

    Performance Tracking – Assembling a comprehensive dashboard to gauge performance against targets, encompassing service level metrics, customer acquisition and payments volumes metrics.

    8+ years Business Development experience in the Payments & or Banking Industry


    • B2B payments solutions – domestic and international – knowledge and experience
    • White label' and / or co-brand solution experience
    • Ability to remain agile and adapt to change.
    • Able to clearly articulate actionable feedback and guidance to senior stakeholders
    • Contract negotiation expertise
    • Excellent time management
