Description
Schedule is Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm.What you'll do:
- Take client outside daily as weather permits for walks
- Prepare simple breakfast and warm up preprepared meals and assist with feeding
- Provide companionship and support the wellbeing of the client
- Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing
- Support for basic activities of daily living
- Assist with administering medication from bubble pack
- Transfer patient with family assistance to and from wheelchair
What you bring:
- Graduate from a HCA program recognized and approved by the Government of Alberta
- Previous experience performing personal hygiene care
- Experience working with seniors
- Compassionate with excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire
- Fluency in Russian considered an asset
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
