Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our team in our Oshawa office.


The Administrative Assistant will assist with general office duties and with the tracking coordinating of projects for our Insurance Services Team.

This is a fast-paced position requiring a pleasant, helpful demeanor, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.


A Day in the life of a Administrative Assistant at Pinchin:

  • Format and finalize reports.
  • Work with incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages
  • Data entry, file preparation and management
  • Coordinate meetings and employee travel.
  • Order office and kitchen supplies
  • Assist project managers with project related requests.

Insurance Team Tracking:


  • Aiding with the assignment of claims assignments.
  • Tracking of project deliverables (excel tracking sheet);
  • Following up with key deliverables; and
  • Setting up projects, invoicing, and other project related tasks.

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • High School Diploma is required and Secretarial or Administrative Assistant Course or equivalent.
  • 1year Business Administration or Business Computer Course is preferred
  • At least two years of experience in administrative functions
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience using a projectbased accounting system considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks with mínimal supervision under strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for working with all levels of the organization.
