We are hiring
Technician for one of our clients in Brampton.


The duties are not limited to the installation and repair of loading docks and doors equipment, perform Prevention Maintenance Program (PMP) and complete PMP sheets, work on parts requirements and scheduling, pickup and deliver equipment/parts from various manufacturers/suppliers to the customer site, and other duties as assigned by the service manager.


Job description:


  • Install, diagnose, repair, and replace equipment (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical)
  • Complete forms and paperwork in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Keep your service truck clean, operational, and utilize the helpers to ensure it is organized at all times
  • Maintain adequate levels of stock of required parts on your truck (identify and report when quantities are low and you require reordering)
  • Put away items returned to the warehouse
  • Dispose materials removed from customer sites properly
  • Constantly improve on product knowledge to better service our customers
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Previous experience in repair and installation of docks and doors
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (electrical knowledge is an asset)
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment including welder and cutting torch.
  • Must know the usage of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and work with mínimal supervision.
  • Customerfocused with strong communication skills
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
