Shipper/Receiver to join our growing team In the execution of this position, the Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving duties as well as stocking parts and maintaining inventory controls.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting incoming parts for quantity, damage, quality, noting any damage, defects, or wrong part for part number and reporting to Management immediately
- Receipt of order documents and delivery notes from all inbound parts shipments
- Ensure all processes followed for Inventory accuracy
- Responsible for inventory management and control
- Picking of parts orders and maintaining documentation of ship outs
- Proper storage of incomplete body shop orders
- Sorting incoming parts in a timely manner
- Informing relevant parties about received parts arrival
- Checking all glass, electronics, sheet metal and fragiles for damage before shipping to customers outside of Winnipeg
- Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parts orders
- Locating parts onto SOR or regular stocking shelves
- Assist with any duties related to inventory preparation
- Assist with physical bin maintenance and parts department housekeeping
- Introduce new locations for incoming new stocking part numbers
- Complete random inventory counts for high volume stocking areas
- Organize warranty parts in the warranty parts Room
- Weekly returning of warranty Parts to the VW warranty centre for inspection
- Receive dirty cores from front and rear parts counters and return regularly
- Keep detailed paperwork of outgoing warranty shipments
- Perform scrapping of aged warranty parts as directed by the Manager
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- High school diploma or GED.
- Interest in cars, and knowledgeable about car repair and maintenance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of CDK or similar programs.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word, and Excel.
- Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
