As a member of Jacquet Metal Services, we are capable of maximizing our global distribution channels to deliver fast quality metal products.

Our expanding Edmonton facility is searching for a driven and motivated
Outside Sales Representative who loves to sell. The incumbent will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account infiltration.


Job Duties
Responsibilities of the respective role is listed below, but are not limited to the following:

  • Establish, develop and grow existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach within an assigned territory
  • Cultivate customer relationships that ensure long term retention and future sales opportunity
  • Research sources for developing new customers and actively pursue prospects
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints while managing expectations
  • Ensure a balance between meeting and exceeding customer expectations and achieving business profitability
  • Identify and maximize all sales and market development opportunities while providing market intelligence to management
  • Submit oral and written reports on weekly sales performance as well as customer opportunities, challenges and revenue potential with recommendations
  • Collaborate with management to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Coordinate sales effort with other departments and facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 13 years of sales experience in metals service industry or similar industry
  • Must be resultsorientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problemsolving and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong customer management and followup skills
  • Valid driver's license for frequent travelling and for periodic travel to Western provinces
  • Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Salary:
$55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
