**What you bring to the team.**

The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible to ensure that H & S requirements are in place and to maintain compliance. This position will be the primary contact for any incidents in the area, including on-site visits, customer liaison as appropriate, and audits. The H & S Coordinator supports the H & S Compliance Lead and the Environmental & Quality Lead with accurate data and reports. This position reports directly to the H & S Compliance Lead. Preferred location is Lively, ON. Travel is required, mostly in Canada East, with some cross-over to other Canadian locations.

**Your main responsibilities.**
- Main contact for all Epiroc team members and sites for SHEQ requirements
- Primary contact for any incident in the Eastern Canada region (Quebec and Maritimes)
- Onsite visits and audits for adherence to requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing monthly reports
- Additional Tasks may be required

EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge/experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO preferred
- Knowledge in incident investigation, hazard assessments, return to work process.
- Knowledge in Federal, Provincial, and municipal regulations
- Previous experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Previous training or Train the Trainer experience

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Post secondary school education
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent attendance
- Clear driving record

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, able to present in front of an audience
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Willing to travel more than 50% of the time
- Ability to represent Epiroc in a professional and ethical manner
- Bilingual (French/English) is required

EXPÉRIENCE:

- Connaissances acquises ou expérience de travail avec les normes ISO 9001, ISO 14001 ou ISO 45001.
