Job Title:
Administrative Assistant - Surrey Campus


The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager, assisting with various HR-related tasks and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process by coordinating interviews, conducting preemployment checks, and preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records.
  • Support the HR Manager in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of HR databases, ensuring data integrity and generating relevant reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the submission of the hours for the payroll, including gathering and verifying attendance reports, sick leaves, vacations, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including the collection of company property and updating employee records.

Requirements:

To be successful the individual must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Business/ HR diploma or equivalent / bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • One to three years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.

Time Position: 40hours/week.

Extended Health Benefits upon satisfactory completion of 3 Months' Probation.
