You Are:

A career orientated and highly skilled residential construction worker with attention to details seeking a full-time, creative opportunity in a great working environment as Closeout and Service Technician.

Health and Minimum Requirements:

Tidy Appearance and Good Hygiene
Valid BC Driver's License
Your own personal vehicle and tools

General Responsibilities:

Assist in project closeout deficiencies
Service and warranty
Drywall + paint repair and touch ups, hardware and finishing repairs
Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
Order parts needed for repairs if needed
Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
Coordinate and scheduling any subtrades as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

Ability to diagnose and solve warranty and service issues for residential homes, town homes and condos
Ability to solve issues such as painting, drywall defects, tile, trim hardware and other finishing details
Ability to coordinate any subtrades as required
Good people skills
Multitasker
Self-Disciplined
Clear communication in English
Ability to work independently without much supervision
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting materials, and working in confined spaces
Ability to effectively manage time
Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot construction deficiencies
Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills

Full-Time Employee or Subcontract based
Benefits and Bonuses package available after 3 months
