POSITION OVERVIEW:


  • The Roll Line Setup Operator will setup and operate all rolling centers. The Roll Line Setup Operator will operate the equipment safety and consistently while meeting all productivity & quality standards set forth by Omex Manufacturing ULC.

DUTIES OF THE JOB:


  • Setup and operate all roll line work centers.
  • Create firstoff / lastoff parts.
  • Problem solves and/or troubleshoots process issues as they arise.
  • Follow processspecific work instructions and verbal directions to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Complete quality inspections at predetermined intervals using calibrated fixtures and devices.
  • Ensure only quality parts are accepted and notify supervision and quality of any quality related issues immediately.
  • Complete all necessary documentation: machine safety check sheets, validation check sheets, setup sheets, quality inspections, production reporting, etc.
  • Operate the equipment safely and consistently with the company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Omex Manufacturing ULC Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized area.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly, including lifting (minimum 50lbs), grabbing, manipulating, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Record of reliability & dependability (quality, safety & attendance).
  • Analytical, mechanical thinking.
  • Proficient with a computer

COMPENSATION:


  • Starting hourly rate $21.3
  • Hourly rate at a year $23.40
  • Midnight Shift Premium $1.50 per hr.
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours
