POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Roll Line Setup Operator will setup and operate all rolling centers. The Roll Line Setup Operator will operate the equipment safety and consistently while meeting all productivity & quality standards set forth by Omex Manufacturing ULC.

DUTIES OF THE JOB:

Setup and operate all roll line work centers.
Create firstoff / lastoff parts.
Problem solves and/or troubleshoots process issues as they arise.
Follow processspecific work instructions and verbal directions to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
Complete quality inspections at predetermined intervals using calibrated fixtures and devices.
Ensure only quality parts are accepted and notify supervision and quality of any quality related issues immediately.
Complete all necessary documentation: machine safety check sheets, validation check sheets, setup sheets, quality inspections, production reporting, etc.
Operate the equipment safely and consistently with the company policies, rules, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Follow all Omex Manufacturing ULC company policies.
Willingness to take additional training courses, as required.
Achieve performance requirements in a responsible and economical manner.
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Omex Manufacturing ULC Code of Conduct.
Maintain a tidy and organized area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly, including lifting (minimum 50lbs), grabbing, manipulating, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Record of reliability & dependability (quality, safety & attendance).
Analytical, mechanical thinking.
Proficient with a computer

COMPENSATION:
