Summary


As the Quality Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end development and execution of quality investigations and support actions from inception to closure with support from the Quality Clinic team.

You will also be responsible for planning, direction and coordination in partnership with other functions to bring quality issues to closure:

This position is an On-Site role


Responsibilities:


Lead the Quality Clinic team in identifying root cause and implement corrective actions to eradicate escapes (both customer and internal), eliminate scrap, and action quality issues that cause delivery delays.

Chair and lead cross functional discussions pertaining to RCCA and effectively communicate follow up actions with all stake holders.

Focal for coordinating quality issues with other LG sites, customer base and/or regulatory bodies.

Timely management of quality issues by bringing all relevant functions together and effectively communicate path forward.

Mentor, coach and develop the Quality Clinic team and conduct performance reviews.

Lead cross functional management reviews and effectively communicate quality issues in a timely manner.

Search for opportunities to increase efficiency of Quality Clinic processes.

Lead the Quality Clinic recertification process with guidance from Enterprise Quality.

Facilitate and present corrective actions and containment based on the scope of the issue.

Conduct data analysis.

Hands-on manager expected to work closely with the stake holders and the Quality leadership team.


Basic Qualifications:


Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Prior knowledge of corrective action techniques such as 5Whys, 8Ds, Fishbone, Pareto etc.

Comfortable with diverse manufacturing processes, ideally, machining, plating and assembly.

Highly motivated and dedicated individual capable of leading a diverse team of stake holders.

Demonstrated leadership skills with five or more years of leadership experience.

Strong bias for action combined with Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to conduct independent data analysis, and navigate through situations.

Excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience of Aerospace/ Automotive manufacturing techniques and/or processes.
