Description

Responsibilities:


  • Protect the security of the customer's assets, property and personnel.
  • Monitor access and egress points to evaluate and provide security.
  • Document unusual incidents or situations to help in preparation and preventative measures of the security risk.
  • Communicate with the police and first response personnel when necessary.
  • Know local, state, and federal laws governing security guards.
  • Monitor all activities of individuals on property to maintain vigilance, deter criminal activity, accidents, etc.
Job requires actively standing and patrolling for extended duration of hours


Salary:
$15.50-$16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Use of Force (preferred)
  • Security Guard Licence (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (required)
