    About The Role


    As Value Creation Lead at Fluent Software Group, you'll spearhead entrepreneurial initiatives across our growing portfolio of software businesses. You'll be responsible for identifying, launching, and scaling cross‑portfolio value‑creation programs—initiatives that unlock meaningful growth and operational leverage across all our companies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Spearhead growth initiatives across Fluent's portfolio, focusing on scalable, cross‑company opportunities (e.g., embedded payments, payroll, accounting, and group purchasing organizations).
    • Build and launch new programs that drive measurable revenue growth or margin expansion across portfolio companies.
    • Develop and implement AI‑driven initiatives, assembling teams and processes to accelerate adoption and execution.
    • Partner closely with portfolio company MDs to identify and execute on high‑impact opportunities that may be hard for them to pursue independently.
    • Collaborate directly with Investment Partner and the Fluent leadership team to align priorities, track impact, and report outcomes.
    • Create playbooks and frameworks for repeatable success across the portfolio.
    • Leverage data, customer insights, and technology to identify untapped value‑creation opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in strategy, operations, or value creation within software, private equity, or consulting.
    • Proven track record of launching and scaling initiatives that drive measurable business results.
    • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, operational KPIs, and unit economics.
    • Experience with embedded finance, payments, payroll, or AI implementations is a strong plus.
    • Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills.

    Nice‑to‑Haves

    • Prior experience in portfolio operations or growth/value creation teams at an investment firm.
    • Familiarity with vertical market software (VMS) or decentralized operating models.
    • Experience working closely with founders and small business leaders.
