- Leads designs of DFG infrastructure providing the "right size" solution for business objectives
- Reviews and implements best practices and innovations across windows server landscape.
- Coordinates support with vendors for maintenance, upgrades and ongoing support .
- Assist in the development and design of processes and procedures for Disaster Recovery in conjunction with IT Operations
- Management of VDI / Virtual desktop environments and Infrastructure.
- Storage configuration, monitoring and management.
- Works with and provides leadership and technical guidance to system administrators and network teams.
- Design, implement, manage and maintain a stable, responsive, highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Act as a liaison of technical support to all departments to resolve complex issues and problems
- Manage overall team performance, metrics and SLAs.
- CMDB management.
- Owns RCAs for all infrastructure Incidents
- Acts as a point of escalation for all infrastructure service-related tickets.
- Manages an accurate, up to date and SOP documentation libraries.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years' experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure.
- Certificates: ITIL, PMP, MCSE, COBIT, Etc.
- 8+ years of expertise in Infrastructure technology, Virtualization and Documentation.
- Practical knowledge and experience with a broad range of infrastructure technologies and Internet facing environments. Examples including VMware, Nutanix, Windows Servers, Azure and AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to design infrastructure achieving high levels of availability.
- Expertise in storage technologies, configuration and management.
- Experience in Enterprise-level software package integration and deployment.
- Expert understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures & operation methodologies.
- Proven experience with defining and evaluating solutions, vendors, and technologies related to IT infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to navigate the organization and motivate the teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- In depth knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- SCCM and Patch management lifecycles.
- Hands on experience with MI, IaaS, PaaS
