The Rebuyer/Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels for our organization. This individual will report to the Purchasing Manager.

  • Work with detailed historical reports to determine order quantities and process purchase orders accordingly.
  • Review all special orders before they are processed to ensure accuracy before they are sent to the vendor.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes and services to recommend best purchasing practices.
  • Work with the purchasing team to monitor and track the inventory of products noting inventory levels and cycle counts
  • Maintain accurate codes and costs in the VAI S2K Enterprise Software
  • 25 years experience in rebuying
  • Strong proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and comfort in the construction materials industry is an asset
  • The ability to communicate, negotiate and collaborate with others is a must
  • Can work independently while determining and prioritizing tasks
  • Positive attitude and a resultsoriented mindset

Experience:
