Role:

Support an Occupational Therapist in helping patients with physical, sensory, or cognitive areas of
Provide handson patient care and service to facilitate treatment and rehabilitation
Assists clients in care activities as assigned by the Occupational Therapist
Implement treatment plans and help patients perform therapeutic activities
Monitor and document patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior
Other duties assigned by the OT or supervisor

Requirements:

An Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) diploma from an accredited Ontario college
Valid work permit (if applicable)
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Vulnerable Sector Screening
Uptodate Immunization Records (MMR, TDAP, Varicella, Hep B, Covid19)
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to follow client care plan accordingly
Strong communication skills
Strong problemsolving skills
Excellent patient service skills
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
