Job Summary:
A wheel Repair Service Advisor assists customers with their wheel-related issues and coordinates the repair or maintenance of damaged wheels.
This position requires a strong customer service orientation, knowledge and willingness to learn about wheel repair procedures, a keen eye for customer processes utilizing job and CRM software, and ability to communicate with repair technicians effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer interaction:
- Respond to and predict customer wheel repair needs by understanding their business workflow and priorities.
- Explain wheel repair and maintenance options to customers, providing recommendations based on their needs and budget.
Inspection and Assessment:
- Inspect damaged wheels to determine the extent of damage and the necessary repairs.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule appointments for wheel repairs and maintenance services.
- Pick up and drop off cars or loose wheels (wheels removed from a vehicle by client) and deliver to the Main Wheel Repair workshop or Mobile Workshop when needed.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work and quality standards using our Job Management software.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their repairs.
New Business Development:
- Call on dealership and body shop prospects to win new business.
- With management develop our directtocustomer wheel repair value proposition and customer booking service.
Sales and Upselling:
- Offer additional wheelrelated services such as wheel refinishing, powder coating and paint customization.
- Analyze the market to identify valueadded products and services we can bring to market.
- Job Management and Customer Relationship Software
- Champion the usage and process optimization of our Job Management and CRM software.
- Identify opportunities for customer experience and technician efficiencies through software usage.
- With management, development workshop processes and task checklist.
- Oversee invoices and payments processed with the business Bookkeeper.
Inventory Management:
- With Shop Foreman, maintain an inventory of wheel repair parts and accessories, ensuring that necessary supplies are readily available.
Management Support:
- Support management on new project research and implementation.
- Be responsible for covering for Business Owners with client and team management from timetotime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in automotive technology is a plus).
- Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive or repair industry.
- Knowledge of wheel repair processes and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to nontechnical customers.
- Sales and upselling skills.
- Proficiency in computer software for recordkeeping and scheduling.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
