Overview
The Transportation Manager contributes to the PepsiCo Beverage team's success by optimizing fleet utilization and ensuring on time deliveries. This person manages a team of non-unionized associates, unionized Transport Drivers, a large group of common carriers and oversees Transport operations in 15 Ontario locations.

Total Compensation: $84,100 - $134,100
Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization and management of the transport department
- Ensures equipment and individual compliance with all environmental, Department Of Transportation (DOT) and Health and Safety regulations
- Ensures Market is meeting or exceeding expected service levels (Ship To Schedule)
- Sets financial and individual targets aligned with Annual Operating Plan objectives and Transport standards
- Manages performance standards to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, safety and transport standards
- Communicates effectively with other operations groups in support of overall business goals
- Drives world class Transport practices throughout supply chain through education and influence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Five plus years transportation and logistics experience preferred
- 2+ years work experience in a management position required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Strong coaching and development skills
- Experience in consumer packaged products or similar unionized industry preferred
- Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
- Ability to demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage Cost Center performance activities
