    A typical day in this role might include:

  • Provide effective leadership to team members, guiding their activities in alignment with the project work plan.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • In depth know of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Lead working sessions to define and document project requirements.
  • Oversee and configure new development tools, automation, scripting, and infrastructure.
  • Comprehend the needs of stakeholders and effectively communicate them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate solution designs and offer constructive feedback.
  • Take responsibility for creating and maintaining technical artifacts on the platform.
  • Identify potential technical issues and provide solutions or guidance.
  • Work closely with software developers and engineers to ensure adherence to established processes and intended functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems within DevOps pipelines, high-throughput web applications, and network services.
  • Identify and implement DevOps best practices to enhance productivity.
  • Develop scripts for automated visualization.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Encourage your team by challenging them with new knowledge, expert skills, and diverse perspectives.

  • Experience required:

  • A minimum of 4+ years experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer
  • A minimum of 2+ years experience leading a team of DevOps engineers
  • 5+ years' experience in SharePoint Online
  • 2+ years' experience in Teams
  • Experience with AWS is an added asset.
  • Experience with containerization, scripting languages, and managing CI/CD infrastructure.

  • Technical Skills Needed:

  • 5+ years expertise in utilizing infrastructure configuration management systems.
  • 5 + years of comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, platform migrations, and cloud technologies and security principles and practices.
  • 3+ years of expertise with cloud deployment
  • Familiarity with common software code management practices, including branching and merging.
  • Strong working knowledge of public cloud environments, specifically Azure.
  • Expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple activities of varying complexity within tight time constraints.
  • Excellent with conflict resolution, prioritization, and critical thinking
