Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in office administration, medical or dental offices, or customer support is highly valued. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other office software
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks including basic bookkeeping and billing procedures
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a professional appearance

- Experience
- Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry procedures
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and filing tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Proven ability to handle customer support scenarios with professionalism and courtesy
- Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and printers is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
Work Location: In person
