Marketing Coordinator
Job description
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and managing the various digital mediums that Evergreen College uses to communicate with their students (eg. Instagram, Facebook, website, etc.).
Reporting to the executives, the Marketing Coordinator will use demonstrated design, communications, and marketing skills to provide information to students and promote various events and initiatives, and develop and maintain Evergreen's Communication Plan with students and business partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Actively contributes to the College's social media channels by posting and promoting on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Assists in the planning and execution of on/offcampus events including creating event materials
- Responsible for managing content creation on blogs, social media, and other media platforms.
- Independently coordinates marketing campaigns and community events, including communication with the students, managing registrations and coordinating with partners.
- Evaluates and monitors campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Supports the college's executive team's relationships with external partners to ensure highquality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
- Conduct market research and identify trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
- 13 years of experience in marketing
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Must be a selfstarter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Must have a high level of creativity and be technology savvy
- Experience working with CRM, student information management system, and other software platforms is considered an asset in order to provide support to other staff
- Prepare content for marketing materials
- Work with outside vendor to create ads, videos, digital material
- Familiar with adobe and other digital marketing software
