We are currently hiring casual
Overnight
Companions (10 hour shift =$160 ; 12 hour shift = $200) in the
Toronto region specifically in
Downtown and
North York area.

In this role, you will be a valued and trusted live-in companion to a senior, helping them with day-to-day living activities including personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping duties.

You will also encourage and assist the senior in engaging in exercise, leisure and social activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Job Description:

Provides companionship and support for clients including both "awake" coverage and "resting" coverage
Bedside sitting for clients in long term care/retirement facilities, or in private residences
Assist clients with household tasks (ex: light meal prep and housekeeping)
Assist clients with mobility
Listen, observe and communicate any concerns/changes in the client's physical, emotional and/or environmental condition

Qualifications:

Compassionate with a passion for helping others
Prior caregiving experience is an asset
Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner
Ability to speak other languages is an asset
Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check and TB Test (within 6 months) as a condition of employment
