JOB SUMMARY

The Materials Handler is responsible for receiving materials/products and ensuring the delivery of materials/products to the proper departments of Holy Family Home.

The Materials Handler demonstrates a commitment to the Mission of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate by supporting the values of Holy Family Home including the provision of quality care, a loving environment, Christian ideals and principles, respect for life and dignity of person, and preservation of our traditional ethnic customs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in the English language.
Ability to read and interpret invoices and department manuals.
Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision.
Ability to organize and establish priorities regarding workload.
Possesses good physical, mental health, and good attendance /punctuality to meet the requirements of the position.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Adheres to all Safety & Health regulations and safe work practices.
Knowledge of Infection control procedures and WHMIS.
Possesses basic math skills.
Knowledgeable use of materials handler equipment.
