Senior Systems Safety Engineer - Ottawa

GFT is seeking a Senior Systems Safety Engineer to join our Practice or CBG Team This role involves leading in the design, construction, operations and maintenance of commuter light heavy rail transit systems.
The successful candidate will deliver innovative technical work to schedule and plan while achieving time quality cost targets as part of multi-discipline teams or on behalf of clients in project teams.
They must have strong technical capability in Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety analysis methods excellent communication skills the ability to perform RAMS-related activities for rail transportation industry
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining RAMS plans establishing processes related to RAMS specifying metrics key performance indicators targets performing system hazard analysis operating support hazard analysis failure modes effects criticality analysis executing RAMS plan supporting continuous development RAMS activities mentoring coaching developing staff..
