    The Role

    We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Vancouver team as an Administrative Clerk. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing various administrative tasks and handling accounting-related help desk tickets. The role will also be responsible for maintaining an understanding of company systems and processes, adhering to record-keeping procedures, and communicating training needs to ensure effective performance. This role is a great fit for someone who is has a keen eye for details, values collaboration, and is looking to develop valuable career launching experience

    Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute monthly arrears statements to residents
  • Invoice processing: coding, scanning and verifying invoices using accounts payable (AP) software.
  • Help desk ticket management: processing tickets, addressing enquiries, and escalating matters to ensure timely and accurate resolution
  • Pre-authorized debit processing: code and process pre-authorized debit forms, forwarding them to the appropriate accounts receivable (AR) clerk for further processing
  • Financial statement compilation: compile copies of invoices for inclusion in monthly financial statements, maintaining organized records for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Monthly financial statement distribution: compile, distribute, and upload monthly financial statements, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in the distribution process
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business administration or related field preferred)
  • Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and software, including MS Office Suite and accounting software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
