Description

As a member of the Professional Practice Team, you will work in collaboration with other team members, the Organizational Leadership Team, Credentialed staff, inter-professional staff, and Regional Partners in supporting the strategic vision and direction of GBGH.

Engaging key stakeholders and end users, the Professional Practice Leader will support in the ongoing development, optimization and evaluation of clinical workflows and Electronic Health Record (EHR) content.

The Professional Practice Leader will represent GBGH at regional partnership discussions and will ensure local stakeholders are engaged and aware of EHR updates.

Job Requirements:

A Registered Nurse designation in good standing with a BScN, a master's degree preferred
Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
A diverse clinical nursing background
A minimum 5 years' experience in an acute care setting
A minimum of 35 years' clinical educator/teaching experience
Experience and demonstrated clinical proficiency required
Experience with clinical and educational program development, implementation, and evaluation
Experience with continuous quality improvement principles
Experience in change management methodologies
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in both English and French an asset

Demonstrated ability to work independently, be selfdirected and manage competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work with inter professional teams
Demonstrated ability to assess needs, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and outcome indicators
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate Patient and staff safety principles and practices
