Description

Van Horik's Landscaping is currently looking for full time seasonal landscape maintenance workers

Previous professional landscape maintenance experience is an asset, preference will be given to those who do, rate of pay dependent on previous experience.

Mechanically inclined and knowledge of small engines is an asset.

Opportunity to work part time and on call during the fall & winter seasons doing snow removal & salting.

Landscape Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:_

Cutting grass with riding lawn mower, push lawn mower, and line trimmer, etc
Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Cultivating and edging garden beds
Weeds from garden beds
Trimming and sniping various plants with hedge trimmers, snips, and loppers, etc
Using a backpack blower to clean away debris from driveways, walkways, patios, decks, etc.
Planting perennials and annuals
Loading and unloading debris
Follow health and safety policies wearing PPE, etc.
Ability to do physically demanding work, outdoors, with a positive attitude is required.
Other related and similar tasks assigned
Ability to drive a truck and trailer is an asset
Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work everyday
Work Monday
Friday, 7am to 3pm
6pm weekends off
