Job Duties

  • Be mobile and flexible to visit different restaurants and regions to ensure hiring needs are fulfilled.
  • Be engaged and stay up to date with company operational/training initiatives as required. Coordinate with managers, senior leadership team as well as other departments to support company's common goals.
  • Review and develop HR policies and procedures to ensure the company compliance with legislation
  • Lead Workplace Health and Safety activities/initiatives.
  • Support company training and development initiatives by organizing and conducting related training sessions, workshops such as ESA workshop, performance management, etc.
  • Manage the daytoday operations of the HR team, ensuring security and accuracy of employee records, consistency of practice and maintenance of optimum service levels
  • Identify areas of opportunity and implement Human Resource interventions needed to meet the short and longerterm growth strategies.
  • Establish HR departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals
  • Plan human resource requirements in conjunction with other departments
  • Respond to questions or complaints from employees or other departmental managers in a timely fashion and handle escalated investigations.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:


  • A Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP designation preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry especially quick service restaurant is a must.
  • 23 years of handson experience in all aspects of HR management including intensive experience in recruitment for high volume and quick service restaurant business. Sound knowledge in employment law, OHS, and other human resources practices.
  • Demonstrated and exceptional leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with proven written and oral communication.
  • Strong problem solving skill and ability to operate with the high level of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Have a valid driver license and access to your own vehicle.

Salary:
From $50,000.00 per year
