STC Warehousing and Distribution is a full service logistics business providing all types of services related to transportation and distribution, combining integrity and honesty in meeting customer's needs, having surpassed 30 years in business.

We are seeking for a reliable Warehouse Lead Hand to assist the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations.

• Coordinating with the CSR to ensure normal flow of orders dropped and assigned to pickers.
• Coordinating and investigating any missing and backorder product that pickers come up with.
• Coordinating the training of new staff, provide RF access.
• Maintaining data that reflects the productivity flow of the shift.
• Maintain a direct line of communication with the Warehouse Team on daily operations and projects.
• Keeping warehouse and yard areas safe, clean and clutter free. Regularly conducting workplace inspections and ensure equipment and tools are maintained.
• Acting as a leader to ensure Quality, Health and Safety issues and concerns are reported and addressed
• Accurately picking, packing and shipping product as per work practices and procedures, customer requirements and sales department notes.
• Accurately documenting product details including numbers, quantities, back ordered items, etc.
• Organizing product in staging area for pick up.
• Loading / unloading product from trucks and shelving using a forklift or other equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

• 3+ years of experience in logistics
• Knowledge of shipping policies and procedures as well as warehouse procedures, processes and techniques including packaging, sorting, stacking, product placement/picking, and inventory control.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Reach truck experience an asset.
• Extra hours may be required to meet the department demands.
• Possess strong leadership qualities and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Selfmotivated, strong time management skills and can work with mínimal supervision.
• Basic computer / keyboarding skills. Capable of following written / verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic punctual, good attendance, respects coworkers

• Travel may be required between different warehouse locations.
• Personal Protective Equipment should be worn to limit exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances.
• Hot and cold weather conditions.
• Handling a number of requests and situations at a time.
