THE ROLE:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team on a contract basis.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in their dynamic and ever-changing industries.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your marketing skills in a diverse and fast-paced environment with exposure to many industires and various marketing initiatives.

THE WORK:

Content Creation:

Collaborate with the owner to produce engaging and high-quality content, including blog posts, social media posts, website content, newsletter writing, and marketing collateral, adhering to brand guidelines and scope of work for each company.

Ecommerce Support:

Contribute to ecommerce efforts, including product descriptions, online sales copy, and optimizing product listings to boost conversions and customer engagement.

Market Research:

Conduct research on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and optimize content for each company.

Social Media Management:

Assist in managing social media accounts for multiple companies, scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the audience to enhance brand presence.

Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, content engagement, and social media metrics, providing valuable insights to improve future initiatives.

Assist in Marketing Projects:

Support the owner in various projects, such as event planning, promotions, and ad campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and successful outcomes.

THE DETAILS

• Proven experience (either academic or professional) in marketing, content creation, copywriting, or related fields.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Very familiar with social media platforms and their respective best practices for business use (upcoming trends, etc)
• Proficiency in using productivity tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and marketing softwareExperience in Indesign, Photoshop, Video editing software, Privy, MailChimp, Planoly, HubSpot & Shopify would be considered an asset
• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative ideas.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimization is a plus.
• A team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the marketing field.
