We are looking for an Electrical / Solar Estimator to join our team that can provide quotations for residential, commercial, agricultural and other types of solar PV projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Electrical / Solar Estimator representative is responsible for developing quotes using our internal software and Microsoft products
Estimating the cost of the electrical work on solar PV installations of all sizes.
Responding to RFP's and providing quotes and clarifications.
Attending trade shows and doing site visits to prospective customers may be required.
Working closely with our Solar Project Coordinator on wins.
Calling potential customers may also be part of the job when quotes are completed.
Completing sales reports

Qualifications:

Previous experience estimating electrical work seen as an asset.
Training as an engineer (electrical or mechanical) or education in a technical college would be seen as an asset.
Education or experience in solar PV would be seen as an asset
Previous inside sales experience will be seen as an asset
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

Salary:
$50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
