Anthem CSO's are responsible for maintaining, monitoring and enforcing the project-specific safety program, as directed by the Safety Manager, Project Manager and Site Superintendent.

You will

Daily

Administer first aid
Conduct formal project site inspections
Provide safety and environmental guidance and support to the Superintendent
Guide, train and teach contractors about safety
Execute Incident Reports
Review and track toolbox minutes and Hazard Assessment forms
Review Site Safety Inspection Reports and all safety equipment and material
Complete Safety Orientations and new safe work procedures
Review trade safety plans and WCB Alberta procedures
Maintain COR requirements on site
Uphold the highest standards of safety

Monthly

Provide Project Statistics (Accident) Reports
Prepare trend analysis and monthly reports
Review Construction and Trade Safety Correspondence
Maintain the Construction Health & Safety Manual

You have

A CSO certification
A minimum of 5 years' experience in safety, preferably in real estate construction
Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification
A great personality with strong organization and people skills
A trade background (preferred)
Confined space awareness (an asset)
Knowledge of SiteDocs and Microsoft Office
Exceptional understanding of Alberta OHSR and how it applies to the field
