You will supportour factory operations by analysing needs, placing Pos, following up ondeliveries with our numerous suppliers and keeping track of our stock levels.

Together with the other team members, you will ensure that we can produce anddeliver our products on time. You will be the go-to person for our productionplanners and supervisors in case of any questions on material availability.

HowYou'll Make an Impact

Your responsibility will be the operational purchasing of direct materials, based on the ERP planning/SAP MRP planning approach
You perform a daily workflow of purchasing direct materials and occasionally indirect materials and services by issuing, confirming, and processing a variety of action messages for a high volume of repetitive and spot purchase requirements.
You coordinate externally with vendors to optimize the supply chain in order to meet internal and external customer requirements, inventory targets and revenue goals.
You coordinate internally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Order Management and Quality to maintain purchasing and supply of direct and indirect materials.
You ensure the accuracy of the inventory through physical inventory management, cycle counting, maintenance of inventory and item records to ensure accuracy, you drive root cause analysis for deviations as well as inventory management improvement projects (RFID, Kanban, etc.)
You coordinate activities between crossfunctional teams and the warehouse department to optimize the material flow to the production facilities. Frequent interaction with shop floor is required.

What You Bring

At least one year of experience in ERP / MRP (SAP) materials management, purchasing, inventory management or logistics required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficient knowledge in SAP, the Microsoft Office suite, and highly proficient Excel
College diploma / certification in a materials management / purchasing field or equivalent
Excellent analytical and organizational skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned responsibilities
Excellent communication skills in both French and English required
Technical background and experience in programming will be an advantage
