Description

The Communication Specialist (Specialist) reports to Fair Chance Learning (FCL)'s Director of Marketing and Communication and works closely with the entire FCL team to ensure coordination of efforts to reach the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

Role & Responsibilities


The role of the Specialist includes the following duties to be undertake in a professional manner to protect and promote Fair Chance Learning and its partners:1.


Social Media Management:
Implement a social media strategy to engage our audience.

Create and curate content that aligns with our brand identity, promotes our products, and services, and fosters meaningful connections with our followers.

Newsletter and Impact Report Creation:

Take ownership of our weekly newsletter, producing high-quality written content ensuring it provides value and entertainment to our subscribers.

Additionally, collaborate with various departments to create comprehensive impact reports for our programs, showcasing the positive outcomes and success stories for use as marketing collateral.

Brand Management:
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels. Monitor and maintain our brand's reputation online, promptly addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Analytics and Performance Tracking:
Utilize analytical tools to measure the performance of our communication efforts. Continuously optimize strategies based on data insights to enhance engagement and reach.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align communication strategies with company goals and initiatives.


The additional responsibilities of the Designer include:

  • Collaborate effectively across FCL teams to ensure program success and FCL's ability to attract new opportunities.
  • Contribute to the success, culture, and innovation of FCL by exhibiting a growth mindset.
  • Support a work environment that values creativity, personal growth, and collaboration.
  • Participate in social, conferences, and celebratory events related to FCL and its partners.
  • Work in professional manner that will protect and promote FCL's brand and reputation.
  • Business travel as required to perform the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Performing other duties that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned by the Director.

Requirements:


  • Strong writing skills with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators.
  • Passion for education and understanding of the education technology industry is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with mínimal supervision.

Salary:
