Overview

A We Rock the Spectrum Coach provides a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for children of all abilities by supervising open play, running sensory-based activities, and assisting with birthday parties. Responsibilities include fostering a supportive atmosphere, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging in one-on-one or group interactions with children. Responsibilities

• Safety and Supervision: Monitor children during open play, ensuring a safe environment, and following safety rules.
• Active Engagement: Facilitate sensory-safe activities, arts and crafts, and, if required, one-on-one or small group care.
• Customer Service: Assist families, manage check-ins using systems like Roller and promote facility services.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the gym clean, tidy, and organized, including cleaning equipment, toys, and restrooms.
• Team Support: Assist with birthday parties, special events, and inventory management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working with children is required, with preference for experience in the special needs community or education/therapy fields.
• Skills: Compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to actively engage in physical activities, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and playing on the floor.
• Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
