Position Title:
Group Administration Support - myFlex Operations

Temporary Part-Time - 12 Month Contract


Work Arrangements:

We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.


The Opportunity:
Equitable Life of Canada is looking to add a Group Administration Support member to our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible to support from an administrative perspective with the maintenance of plan member policies and contracts, and action basic reports to support the team.


What you will be doing:


  • Updating/validating plan member and plan sponsor information (adding/changing plan members' information, contact information for plan sponsors, validating results from electronic member
  • Load files from Third Party Administrators
  • Administering pay direct drug cards including problem solving utilizing provider's software (Telus)
  • Updating banking information (EFT/Plan Members), in accordance with external vendors' guidelines (financial institution)
  • Terminating and reinstating plan members, to ensure that only eligible claims are paid, sending a templated letter to address the collection of overpayments
  • Beneficiary changes in accordance with legal parameters
  • Action basic reports and complete unfinished processes or take corrective action where required, such as the No Dep report and CCU report
  • Support administration of a new group policy with regard to loading plan member details
  • Adhere to turnaround standards, meeting acceptable quality rates and transactional goals
  • Miscellaneous admin support as needed
