Job Title: Pressure Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman A Class Pressure Welder who will be responsible for production welding of standard and custom products. This entails fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, creation of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts, and welding complex pipe components. You will be expected to operate light machinery, complete all required paperwork, and maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.

Hard Skills

• Class A or B pressure certification
• TIG, MIG, flux core welding experience
• Fabrication skills
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints

Job Type

This is a contract position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Work Environment

You will be working in a heavy industrial environment at our Chilliwack facility. The facility is open, clean, and organized with individual stations for welding. Our team is friendly with several employees having long term tenure. The work environment involves a mix of materials but mostly Carbon steel. Welding processes used include MIG, TIG and flux .

Shifts available include Day shift (6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday), Afternoon shift (4:15pm to 2:45am, Monday to Thursday), and Weekend shift (6:00am to 6:30pm, Friday to Saturday and Sunday). Some overtime may be required.
