Reporting to the Regional Director, the Production Manager, you will be leading your team while overseeing design and pre-construction production.

You will lead a team of technologists to produce high-quality designs for design-build projects, ensuring the team understands the priorities of the day and that the work is completed in an efficient and timely manner.

The department will be yours to develop, and you will be able to identify opportunities to improve the processes and technology the team uses to operate.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Here's what your daytoday looks like:_
  • Working with project teams to develop proposal drawings/renderings of the highest standards to ensure winning proposals in the timeframe required
  • Confirming building code analysis and energy code analysis are performed
  • Collaborating with estimating and operations teams to ensure design content matches project budget and scope requirements
  • Ensuring design professionals are engaged and design meetings are held on a timely basis
  • Ensuring design standards are being communicated and followed, maintaining standards with strong attention to detail
  • Managing department employees, including but not limited to performance management, onboarding new employees, facilitating new employee training, coaching, and mentorship
  • Writing, or assisting with the writing of effective proposals, while properly describing the proposed structure/architecture
  • Preparing construction drawings and specifications for Lindsay Design-Build projects
  • Contributing to all corresponding bids and construction phase activities providing technical expertise for the project team
  • Being responsible for site data collection, conceptual through final design, construction observation, assistance with specification writing, and conducting Building Condition Assessment studies
  • Confirming the required construction documentation required for projects; coordinating project teams' efforts to produce such documentation
  • Leading and participating in the development of design alternatives, using a multitude of media, including handdrawing, computer visualization, and digital models

Job Requirements:


  • Diploma in Architectural Technology, Bachelor's in Architecture, or related education
  • 5+ years experience working in an architectural or consulting firm
  • Demonstrated leadership capability through your ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and direction to those around you
  • Knowledge and experience in building code analyses, energy code analyses, schematic design, development of construction documents, construction administration, and costing
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and other imaging software is considered an asset
  • Great organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
