Warehouse Receiver QA/qc Inspector - Fort McMurray, Canada - Summit Inspection Services Ltd.
Description
Schedule/Accommodations:
- Start date: January 2023
- Duration: 79 months
- Rotation: 14x14 until shutdown (May). Onsite for full duration of shutdown, return to 14x14 for remainder of contract.
- Mob in/out flights provided from main hubs (Calgary/ Edmonton)
- Camp accommodations provided
- Travel assistance provided for out of province inspectors
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Quality Control of pressure piping, fittings, and equipment
- Create and maintain various quality management documents
- Work with various vendors on obtaining all necessary QC turnover documents
- Review and verify heat numbers and MTR's against purchase orders
- Perform PMI on various alloys to verify material specifications
- Represents SUMMIT with external parties, regulatory bodies and clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Jr. QC inspector
- 5 + years piping fabrication QC experience
- CWB Level I / II
- B31 codes
- CGSB level I
- UT, level II MT/PT (optional)
- Certified to perform PMI
- Ability to work proficiently within systems to record/track receivables and material transfers within inventory and quality assurance systems.
- Must have the following valid safety certifications prior to employment: H2S Alive, Emergency First Aid, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), Confined space entry and rescue, and OSSA Fall protection
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Read and write in English
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding activities that may involve moving, setting up, and operating inspection equipment (must be able to lift up to 50lbs)
