- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), plus an additional program in office management of more than one year and up to two years or the equivalent;
- Two years' previous experience required;
- Good knowledge of and ability to use computer tools and office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Meditech);
- Ability to act as recording secretary and to write minutes;
- Ability to manage agendas and meetings;
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and work productively despite frequent interruptions;
- Strong sense of responsibility and approachable personality;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Hospital Activities, the incumbent provides extensive administrative support to various departments. The incumbent provides high-quality clerical, secretarial and reception services while respecting the confidential nature of their work and demonstrates discretion and diplomacy in carrying out their assigned duties. Other related duties may occasionally be assigned as required.
