General Summary:
The Accounting Assistant is required to perform various tasks including Accurate Data Entry, filling and typing Invoices. This is a 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform tasks efficiently focusing on accuracy while meeting deadlines.
  • Answering calls and communicating with customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organizing paperwork received each day.
  • Data Entry typing quotes to invoices. Attention to Detail a Must
  • Provide support to other office staff
  • Work together in a team environment.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in a busy office setting, accounting and data entry where efficiency and attention to detail are of the utmost importance.
  • Ability to follow direction and work together with others to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs, especially Excel, and learn new programs easily.
  • Enjoy working with numbers, problem solving and a focus on attention to detail.
  • Self reliant, organized, motivated and quality oriented.
