    The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Technician reports to the HR Manager and provides comprehensive support to day-to-day operations in a variety of areas in human resources, including recruitment & employment, HRIS, benefits, processes, employee data records and special projects. The HR & TA Technician liaises closely with other departments throughout the organization by providing effective support to the HR & TA teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide assistance in the recruitment, immigration and relocation process.
    • Manage new hire onboarding and employees' benefits.
    • Process status changes and terminations.
    • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in the day-to-day management of the HRIS and internal systems.
    • Maintain employee files up to date.
    • Generate reports, letters and weekly communications.
    • Respond to various employees' inquiries and questions.
    • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
    • All other related tasks.

    Qualifications

    • DEC or University Degree
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
    • Bilingual, French and English
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to communicate effectively and comfortably with all levels within organization
    • Effective problem-solving skills
    • Enjoy working in teams
    • Able to follow directions well
    • Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Able to present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
    • Ability to operate under pressure
    • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
