    Job Description:

    As a Business Development Associate , you will play a vital role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. Working directly with the CEO and COO, you will be responsible for:

    • helping to identify new markets
    • developing a social and media engagement strategy to attract and educate potential customers,
    • developing strategic partnerships to promote our portfolio of beneficial plant growth promoting bacteria
    • Customer acquisition activities such as cold outreach

    This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of agricultural innovation and contribute to increasing global food security.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential target markets, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Analyze market data to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.

    Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand our customer base. Utilize cold outreach techniques, including email and phone calls, to engage potential customers and introduce them to our products and services.

    Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate ongoing communication.

    Social Media Content Development: Create engaging content for social media platforms to raise brand awareness and promote our products. Develop content calendars, schedule posts, and monitor social media channels to engage with followers and drive traffic to our website.

    Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals. Assist with the development of sales strategies and initiatives to meet revenue targets and business objectives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business related to Science or Agriculture, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
    • Self motivated and willing to step outside of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges
    • Excited for the opportunity to work at an early stage company
    • Interested in working in the horticulture/food production industry
