**Compétences/qualifications**:

- Membre en règle, Barreau du Québec (Obligatoire)
- Passion pour le droit
- Expérience pertinente dans les domaines du litige civil/commercial
- Solides compétences en recherche et capacité à rédiger efficacement et avec diligence
- Capacité à gérer des dossiers de litige avec un minimum de supervision, mais bénéficiera du soutien total du cabinet en matière de formation et d'orientation
- Doit posséder d'excellentes compétences organisationnelles et être capable de travailler dans un environnement en évolution rapide avec une grande attention aux détails
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et à respecter des délais serrés
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication pour avoir de solides relations avec les clients
- Entièrement bilingue (français et anglais)
- Expérience dans la conduite de procès/motions judiciaires

**Votre rôle et vos responsabilités au sein de notre équipe**
- Rédaction de procédures judiciaires
- Rédaction et production d'affidavits, des pièces, et de plans d'argumentation
- Planification/coordination avec les tribunaux et l'avocats des parties adverses
- Conduite des interrogatoires
- Recherches juridiques et mémorandums
- Rédaction et révision des contrats
- Préparation des procès

The Bergman & Associates family is growing We are looking for a passionate, driven, organized and unique individual to join us. Our caseload consists of difficult, often controversial and sometimes high-profile legal issues. The importance of a strong team cannot be underestimated.

Our offices are located in Westmount Square and a hybrid work schedule is possible after successfully completing a three-month probationary period.

**Skills/qualifications**:

- Member in good standing, Barreau du Québec (mandatory)
- Passion for the law
- Relevant experience in the fields of civil/commercial litigation
- Strong research skills and the ability to write effectively and diligently
- Ability to manage litigation files with mínimal supervision, but will benefit from the full support of the firm in terms of training and orientation
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to have strong client relationships
- Fully bilingual (French and English)
- Experience in conducting legal trials/motions is an asset

**Your role and responsibilities within our team**
- Legal research and memoranda
- Drafting of legal proceedings
- Drafting and production of affidavits, exhibits, plans of argument
- Planning / coordination with the courts and the lawyers of the opposing parties
- Conducting examinations
- Drafting and revision of contracts
- Trial preparation
