Job Description:


The incumbent will be responsible for the planning and monitoring of training of Technical Operations and Integrated Operations Center (IOC) personnel.

This includes the scheduling of participants and instructors (if applicable), the reservation of training facilities, and all other related tasks.


  • Develop and communicate monthly training schedules for Technical Operations and Integrated Operations Center (IOC) personnel and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, collective agreement requirements, Air Transat standards, and other operational needs.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure training schedules meet expectations.
  • Monitor and evaluate training certificate expiry dates to ensure employees are qualified when on duty.
  • Ensure LMS and QMS are updated as necessary.
  • Reserve all required training facilities.
  • Liaise with thirdparty training facilitators to schedule training and coordinate training needs, as required.
  • Provide reports/data to management and stakeholders, as required.
  • Perform any other duties related to training as assigned by the Manager, Training Planning

Qualifications:


  • College diploma or pertinent experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English) spoken and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Consummate team player.
  • Assets: Working knowledge of an MRO software (AMOS), QMS (Pelesys), Transport Canada regulations, and applicable collective agreements.
