Description
This position entails a high level of client contact so good English communication skills are a must. You should also be familiar with Quickbooks, Sage, and Caseware.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Create, maintain, and balance accounts using computerized systems
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare trial balances
  • Keep general ledgers
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Calculate and prepare paycheques and payments for suppliers
  • Other administrative duties and projects as required

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
  • Strong data entry and mathematical skills
  • Handson experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal English)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Exemplary time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with bookkeeping software
