- Assists with electrical system installations, troubleshooting and repair as needed. Able to design electrical systems and circuits, as well as contributing to improved designs and processes;
- Develops daily work plans including applicable permits and ensures communication of assigned work with personnel;
- Ensures parts, equipment, materials, tools, procedures, technical documentation and drawings, are coordinated and managed;
- Ensures effective use of the work order system;
- Assists in the preparation of department operating and capital budgets, forecasts, monthly cost analysis and reporting;
- Promotes continuous improvement in methods/performance, employee safety and equipment;
- Plan and schedule activities to maximize availability and reduce downtime;
- Assists in the development of the Maintenance Management System;
- Maintains records of electrical operations and operations;
- Active role in hiring and evaluating employees;
- Ensures a well‑functioning Preventative Maintenance program of the electrical and control systems that drives improving reliability based on the criticality of the equipment;
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules;
- Assist with annual and quarterly budget review;
- Heavy lifting, large cable pulls, 5kv testing and installations.;
- Review & manage warehouse stock levels;
- Underground mine experience;
- Ability to prioritize site needs and act, accordingly, including callouts.
- Valid Red Seal or interprovincial Journeyman Certificate as an Electrician/Instrumentation;
- 10 years' experience in the repair and troubleshooting of diverse electrical related equipment;
- 5 years' Supervisory experience;
- Experience using a CMMS system;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook;
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.
- Eligible for Annual Bonus.
- Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.

The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor to work in a camp‑based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation.
