What is the opportunity?


In this role, you will manage projects within Online Banking channel and work with teams across RBC to enhance the OLB online platform.

You will coordinate activities of assigned projects to ensure project goals are accomplished within approved time frame, leveraging the appropriate delivery methodologies and working with cross functional teams including business and technology.

You will lead/manage releases for OLB online platform.


What will you do?

  • Manage projects based on best fit methodology to ensure all standard project management, Agile/SDLC/Enterprise artifacts and necessary governance are in place
  • Take on the role of PM and/or Scrum master for agile team
  • Provides schedule, costs forecasts including risk based provisions, and status updates
  • Deliver business value in the Online Banking Channel by effectively communicating and collaborating with multiple lines of business and crossfunctional teams
  • Facilitate collective decisionmaking, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team
  • Manage OLB release testing, communication and coordination for implementations

What do you need to succeed?

  • 47 years of Project Management experience, with proven experience successfully delivering digital projects across crossfunctional teams
  • Experience delivering projects using Iterative Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management and PMO methodology
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Advanced understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture
  • Superior business acumen
  • Handson experience in successfully managing remote teams/projects
  • Expertise in managing project financials and using enterprise systems for reporting purposes
  • Highly organized with superior time management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal
  • Conceptual thinker, creative thinker and analytical thinker
  • Creative problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, detail oriented environment
  • Drives for results and high performance for self and team members
